All Black Dog parts are made on-site in our remanufacturing facility and machine shop. We remanufacture a wide range of products, including Jaguar and Land Rover engines and cylinder heads. All of our parts are assembled to the highest standards possible. Each product is tested and analyzed to insure that we have the lowest failure rate in the industry. Remanufactured parts are different from used or rebuilt parts. A used part is sold "as is" from a salvage car. It is stripped from the car and sold in its existing condition. When a part is rebuilt, only the component that has failed is replaced or fixed. A rebuilt unit will begin its life where it left off with only the failed component replaced. In a remanufactured part, each component of the unit is cleaned and examined. All component parts are checked and brought back to specifications where necessary. When finished, a remanufactured unit should function as well as a new unit and still cost you less than a new part.
